A Change to the Podcast
Hello podcast listeners! Maybe you currently check out the Paper Machete Radio Magazine each week at WBEZ, or at iTunes. If you don’t already, we encourage you to listen and subscribe. But for those of you already listening, you know our Radio Magazine format generally includes three essays from the show plus a musical guest clip, narrated throughout by the producers.
Well, going forward we’re going to try something a little different. » Read more..

10/29 Radio Magazine [PODCAST on WBEZ]
Josh Zagoren, normally seen crouching suggestively behind Chad the Bird, guests hosted the 10/29 live show & joined us on the podcast this week. Also featuring Adam Guerino on the gay man’s stake in Halloween, Aemilia Scott on the Occupy movement, and music by Fatbook. Fatbook KILLED and sounded amazing in our live show, thanks to our trusty sound engineer Aadam Jacobs. But we at the Machete don’t have the advanced scientific tools and machinery needed to capture that many instruments in a box. So, for the podcast, we used a recording of “Kill it For Me” off their album No Time to Lose.
